Golf club page 16.10. — green fee per player: Green fee 18 Holes (10:00) Montenmedio Golf & Country Club is located in Cádiz, in the middle of two nature reserves (the Natural Park of La Breña and the Marshes of the Barbate River). This makes it one of the most pleasant golf courses in Spain. Its 18-hole, par 72 course, amidst pine, cork oak and wild olive forests, is 6,260 metres long, with wide fairways and a variety of putting greens, designed to be a challenge for any level of play.

Fairplay Golf Club

Since the renovation the Fairplay Golf Club has been a real reference point for golf in Andalusia. The typical cork oak forests and olive groves give the course a southern character, creating a real challenge for all handicaps. The 18 hole Par 73 course was designed by the Belgian architect Baron Paul Rolin and the large undulating greens were created by the Englishman Gordon English. The fairways are a little adventure for every player, boredom is not an option here. Situated close to the unique natural park “Los Alcornocales”, the golf course has been subjected to a strict ecological standard, so the original vegetation has been preserved. In general the course is flat with 7 lakes, the Laguna de la Janda and the typical woodland which may cause you some problems in the landing area.

La Estancia Golf Club

Golf club page 20.10. — green fee per player: Green Fee 18 Holes (10:00) This is a relatively new course (2009), located in Chiclana a few kilometres from the beach. Designed by the Dutch architect Alan Rijks, La Estancia Golf is reminiscent of the old links, with a front nine and back nine. The golf course at La Estancia Golf is fairly flat with some undulations and easy to walk. The course is of medium difficulty, it includes several obstacles, three lakes, two streams, hills, bunkers, rough and protected natural areas. Each hole has three teemarkers, while the greens are elevated, forming a course that is not only demanding but also very pleasant to play
