The Costa Brava stretches from Blanes, north of Barcelona, to Roses, near the French border. A region where you can enjoy an unforgettable golf holiday: nature, beaches, forests, art, culture and world-class golf courses. Its mild climate all year round, typical of the Mediterranean, makes playing golf a real pleasure. Its golf courses are distributed in inland areas and near the coast, for those who dream of teeing off in the mountains and finishing by the sea. The typical characteristics of the courses in this area are the surroundings and the technical design, where you will be able to show off your variety of shots.

Golf de Pals

13.10. — green fee per player: Green Fee 18 Holes (10:00)
Being the oldest golf course on the Costa Brava (1966), Golf de Pals is located on an ancient dune covered by an immense Mediterranean pine forest and only 500 metres from the sea. The course runs between gentle hills, pine forests and lakes. The front nine is rather short with narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers, soft doglegs and large pine trees guarding the greens. Here the emphasis is on accuracy rather than power. The final holes are longer, with wide fairways and generous greens. The 18-hole Par 72 course, designed by Ramos Espinosa, is technically difficult but its 6,263 metres are accessible to all types of players. In the Club House, which reproduces an old barn, you will find a Pro-Shop, changing rooms, rest rooms, bar and a restaurant where you can enjoy Empordà cuisine.

15.10. — green fee per player: Green Fee 18 Holes (10:00)
Located in the heart of the Costa Brava, close to beaches and natural parks, the renovated Empordà Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses, the Links and the Forest, both designed by the world-renowned architect Robert von Hagge, where the courses require players to use a variety of strokes and techniques to overcome the challenge posed. The Forest Course meanders through a traditional Mediterranean pine forest that defends it from the Tramontana wind. Its 5866 metres from the yellow tees takes the player through undulating fairways winding through the pine forest with extensive lakes capable of ruining any card. The Link course is reminiscent of many coastal courses in the UK and Ireland. Its par 71 course and 5971 metres are set amongst dunes, lakes and bunkers strategically placed throughout its 18 holes. Its signature hole is the 18th, with a large lake guarding a 3000 square metre green. Facilities: – Driving range with two tees, including a practice bunker. – A new Club House including a pro shop, restaurant, changing rooms, members’ lounge and a stretching room. – Rental service for golf clubs, new buggies and manual or electric trolleys. – Golf academy for adults and children.
