After being closed for two years for renovation, hardly anything is as it was back then. The hotel is now at the center of golf activities, the 18-hole course was completely redesigned by the American firm Hurdzan/Fry Environmental Golf Design (the same in charge of restyling the Royal Park I Roveri) and the clubhouse occupies an annex of the hotel. The course is often influenced by winds that can be rather intense and changeable. One day you might use a six-iron to reach the green, while the next day a three-wood: a real challenge for both average as well as expert players, with water flanking eight holes out of eighteen.
