The Montgomery Golf Marrakech offers Arabian ambience mixed with Scottish golf tradition on around 75 hectares. The golf course is a must-play for every golf lover and is considered a challenging course in Marrakech. Eight-time European champion Collin Montgomery designed The Montgomery Golf Marrakech. His goal was to create a golf course that would suit all levels of play. The ondulated, long, wide and partly undulating fairways pose a special challenge. The more than 70 beautifully designed bunkers also stand out on the course. Some of them are deep bunkers. Hardly any other golf course offers this outstanding and striking bunker design. It is reminiscent of a Scottish links course. At 6230 metres, the various tees offer the right level of difficulty for every golfer.

Noria Golf Club at Domaine de Noria in Marrakech, Morocco, is a par-72, eighteen-hole championship golf course that measures 6,589 metres (7,206 yards) from the professional tees. Amateurs will find enjoyment and challenge at one of the four alternate lengths that range from 4,579 metres (5,008 yards) up to 6,116 metres (6.689 yards). The two par-36, nine-hole loops, which are very well balanced in terms of length and difficulty, wind through olive orchards, lavender fields and desert landscapes before making a dynamic, parallel finish along a formal reflecting pool with the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and a dramatic, beautiful clubhouse providing a stunning backdrop. The central feature is a magnificent traditional “basin” that splits the 9th and 18th holes and stretches away into the distance from the clubhouse to the far side of the site. From a golf course architectural perspective, Noria Golf Club is easily the most unique golf course that Hills & Forrest have ever designed. The concept of blending three different landscapes (orchards and lavender fields, the desert and a formal “oasis”) was challenging, yet provided the basis for a golf experience filled with wonderful variety for the player. Added to this basic framework were lots of interesting traditional Moroccan features ranging from reflecting pools, cascades and basins to architectural elements such as bell towers and observation structures to desert oued (wadi), khettara, seguia (irrigation channels) and even the namesake noria. The noria is a traditional Moroccan landscape feature and has been incorporated into the golf course design on the 15th hole, hence the name, Noria Golf Club.

The Royal Golf Marrakech, favorite of the late His Majesty King Hassan II, is the second oldest course of the Kingdom. Some holes are legendary and full of history. Its exceptional vegetation provides a unique setting. Designed by Gustave Golias and Arnaud Massy it opened to the first players in 1927. The Royal Golf Marrakech has 27 holes. David Lloyd George, a British statesman, made numerous appearances on the golf greens of Marrakech. Winston Churchill also played it several times before the Second World War, then later the American President, General Ike Eisenhower. OLD COURSE 18 HOLES PAR 72 – 5.871 METRES It’s the second oldest golf course of the kingdom, it was inaugurated in 1927 with 4 holes played by the Pacha of Marrakech, Hadj Thami El Glaoui Mezouari. In 1928, Gustave Golias, golf champion and personal professor of the Pacha, completed the construction of the 9 first holes and is drawing the 9 following. Passionate about botanic, he also planted species who are now centenary and give to the Royal its garden gold reputation. In 1933, Gustave Golias and the famous Arnaud Massy, who is the first foreigner to win the British Open in 1907, are remodeling the course to give its grace and elegance back It is on this course that you will discover one of the most famous holes, the “Brigitte Bardot”. This PAR 3 was baptitised this way by its Majesty, the king Hassan II. NEW COURSE 9 HOLES PAR 36 – 3 072 METERS In 2007, and to always satisfy the requests of its customer base, The Royal Golf Marrakech entrusts the extension of 9 holes to two french designers : Gert Watine, a golf professional who was born in Morocco and Thierry Sprecher, an architect who constructed many golfs in the hexagon. In May 2008, the New Course was officially inaugurated. This PAR 36 of 3 072 meters is in perfect harmony with the magnificent landscape, preserving its unique atmosphere that makes the well known charm of the Royal Golf Marrakech. This course benefits of all the vegetation, perfectly integrating with the actual course, with water ponds, offering this way a more technical and long course.
