What immediately strikes you is the typical Dye architecture: elevated tees, deep bunkers, undulating greens. The fairways are very well maintained, but not overly wide – so you have to hit the ball reasonably cleanly. The bathrooms are huge, and many rooms have a balcony or terrace with a view of the greenery or the sea.
