Marrakesh – a golfer’s paradise in North Africa Marrakesh is not only a cultural highlight with its bustling medina, colourful souks and impressive palaces – the Moroccan royal city has also long been a real hotspot for golfers. Surrounded by the majestic Atlas Mountains, Marrakesh offers perfect conditions for an unforgettable golf holiday: first-class courses, a pleasant climate all year round and luxurious resorts right on the fairway. Golfing in Marrakesh – A combination of tradition and modernity As a golfer, you can expect an unusually high density of varied golf courses in Marrakech – many of them designed by renowned architects such as Jack Nicklaus, Kyle Phillips and Robert Trent Jones. Most of the courses are only a few minutes’ drive from the city centre, but offer the feeling of being in the middle of nature – with views of snow-capped mountains, palm trees, olive groves and the red clay buildings of the region. Top golf courses in Marrakech 1. Al Maaden Golf Club An 18-hole championship course with a modern design, wide fairways and strategically placed water hazards. The art installations on the course and the breathtaking panorama in particular make every round an experience. 2. Assoufid Golf Club A highlight for ambitious golfers. The course is perfectly maintained, with undulating fairways and fast greens – plus a constant view of the High Atlas Mountains. A must! 3. Samanah Golf Club Designed by Nicklaus Design, this course is technically challenging and a real test for all skill levels. The dry desert landscape provides an authentic Moroccan golfing flair. 4. Royal Golf Marrakech Morocco’s oldest golf course (since 1927!) is located in an old palm grove – shady, quiet and steeped in history. If you love classic parkland courses, you’ll be happy here. 5. PalmGolf Ourika & Palmeraie Rotana Two more top addresses that score points with their modern layout, excellent service and proximity to resorts. Perfect for relaxed rounds of golf and as part of a golf & relaxation package. Best time to travel to Marrakech for golf The ideal time for a golf trip to Marrakech is from October to May. During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm (20–28 degrees), the courses are in top condition and you can enjoy the sun almost every day. In summer it gets hot – but the courses are emptier and prices are often significantly lower. Golf holiday with a 1001 Nights feeling After your round, the typical Marrakech experience awaits: a massage in a traditional hammam, dinner on a roof terrace with a view of the Koutoubia Mosque or a stroll through the winding alleys of the old town. Many resorts – such as the Fairmont Royal Palm, Selman Marrakech, Mandarin Oriental and Al Maaden Villas – combine golf, wellness and Moroccan luxury at the highest level. Conclusion: Why Marrakech is perfect for golf holidays Large selection of top courses with excellent maintenance and great design Year-round golfing climate, especially ideal in the winter months Excellent golf resorts with international-standard service Good flight connections from many European cities Unmistakable ambience between desert, palm trees, the Atlas Mountains and oriental culture

At a palm grove near Marrakech, come experience a magical, majestic, authentic, and unforgettable dinner show! Originating from the Rif region, the Fantasia is a war ceremony consisting of opposing groups of horsemen. Each represents the best riders of their tribe. As each group quivers in glaring light, all its members point their rifles to the sky and shoot at the same time leaving behind them a tumult of bursts and shouts.
Comfortably seated on rich cushions under one of the various "Caïdales" tents you will taste the dishes that made Moroccan cuisine world famous. During this delicious meal enjoy folkloric troops, musicians, and acrobats from all over Morocco. They will entertain, astonish, captivate, and surprise you.
After the meal, we will go to the arena, where the show really gets started! Enjoy dances, songs, and the caravan. Admire the incredible cleverness and nimbleness of the horse riders on their pure Arab steeds. One of the greatest surprises is the sultan and his favorite wife on a flying carpet above the spectators!
