Golf club page 18.11. — green fee per player: Green fee 18 Holes Prov 2026 (10:00) Real Club de Golf Sotogrande was founded in 1964 and is situated on a first class golf course, close to the beach, between the Guadiaro River and the marina of Sotogrande, in Andalusia. RCG Sotogrande is regularly ranked among the top ten golf courses in Europe. Known locally as “Old Sotogrande”, it has mature vegetation including pines, cork oaks, eucalyptus and giant palm trees that enhance the natural beauty of the surroundings. The greens are large and the tees are long, but allow for variations in flag placement and hole length. The green contours are in the classic Trent Jones style and the bunkers are the first in Europe to be filled with bright white crushed marble. Another “first” at Sotogrande was the use of Bermuda grass on the fairways.

The Old Course is one of the most emblematic courses on the Costa del Sol, where the greens, bunkers and all the playing surfaces have been redesigned and remodelled and can now be compared with the best courses in the world. And on the other hand we find “The New Course”, an incredible and challenging course, designed by Perry Dye, with the collaboration of Severiano Ballasteros. This course offers beautiful views of the mountains and the sea.
