With beautiful panoramic views of the bay of Funchal, the mountains and the Desertas Islands, Palheiro Golf Club is situated at an altitude of 500 metres on undulating terrain where its architect, the famous Cabell B. Robinson, took full advantage of Madeira's mountainous terrain to frame the course with maritime pines, botanical forests and lush subtropical vegetation.

The 18 hole Par 72 course meanders over 6000 metres through the Quinta do Palheiro Ferreiro estate with fast greens, steep ridges and deep valleys providing a compelling challenge for even the most experienced golfer but suitable for all handicaps.

Below the 18th hole is the clubhouse restaurant offering a magnificent panoramic view to end a memorable day.
