As South Africa’s oldest golf course, the Royal Cape Golf Club has evolved into what it is today, a classic Parkland golf course that offers a fine test of golf as well as a wonderful playing experience. Situated on the outskirts of fabulous Cape Town, this 18-hole, Par 72 championship course is in superb condition all year round and has hosted the South Africa Open on ten occasions, as well as many other high profile professional and amateur events. 

The tree-lined course is flat, with narrow fairways, well-placed bunkers and subtle greens built to USGA standards. The assiduous wind will challenge you, but the nature and mountain views will comfort you in case of a bad shot. The dogleg on the Par 4 14th hole is certainly one of the most difficult with trees on both sides, water guarding the green and the wind making its presence felt. At the Royal Cape campionship not many golfers have left with Par on their card.
