Foresteria del Golf Club Asolo Valdobbiadene

The Foresteria is wonderfully located on the grounds, on hole 5 of the Red Course with a beautiful view of the golf course. Our room was cozy and we felt very comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. We know that Italians eat breakfast differently than Germans, but 10 days of the same slice cheese and ham, .... no fruit, ... that is already very modest (especially in a culinary so rich region). It does not have to be more, but it could be a little more varied. There was exactly the same for breakfast for 10 days. When we arrived at just after 6pm, we were very nicely met by the doorman who showed us around. The hotel service would have been a little better if someone from the reception had greeted us briefly the next day and given us some more info, e.g. that the club restaurant is closed from Sunday evening to Tuesday inclusive, or where to go if we had any questions. The reception of the golf club is also the reception for hotel guests, but that is not immediately clear.
