Hotel Le Case dei Conti Mirafiore Langhe

The Hotel Le Case dei Conti Mirafiore is set in the beautiful, renowned wine-estate of Fontanafredda, a “village” founded by Emanuele Alberto, the son of King Vittorio Emanuele II, which became home to 250 people, all employed by the winery, and where 15 families still live today. An authentic place, immersed in 120 hectares of bionatural reserve in the heart of Barolo wine, surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards, where every corner has a unique view and a story to tell. The historical wine cellars of king Vittorio Emanuele II are open to the public and can be visited (upon reservation and payment).

Opened in 2017, it stands in a building dating back to the 1930s. Originally used as accommodation for the employees and their families who shared life within the village, nowadays, the Hotel Le Case dei Conti Mirafiore is a 4-star hotel, overlooking the Unesco World Heritage Langhe hills, intoxicated by the scent of excellent, renowned wine. The 14 cosy, elegant rooms come with Italian design furnishings by Poliform, fine Rubelli fabrics, Artemide lights and Gessi bathrooms. Guests are treated to a gourmet breakfast prepared on the spot by the village’s Chefs. The three restaurants of the complex, the 1-Michelin-star “GuidoRistorante”, in the Villa Reale, the informal “Osteria Disguido” in the Hotel Le Case dei Conti Mirafiore, and the Osteria Galarej in the Cascina Galarej, top off this amazing venue.
