Foresteria Golf Club Margara - Experience unforgettable golf holidays!

Golf holiday at Foresteria Margara – a paradise for true golfers

As a passionate golfer, you realise as soon as you arrive at Foresteria Margara that you have landed in a special place. Nestled in the rolling hills of Piedmont, surrounded by greenery and with sweeping views over the golf courses – this place breathes golf. And not just any golf, but authentic, top-level Italian golf. The combination of sporting challenge, relaxed lifestyle and culinary delights makes a stay at Foresteria Margara a real highlight for golf lovers.

The perfect accommodation right next to the golf course

Foresteria Margara is not just a hotel – it is the heart of the Margara Golf Club. Guests staying here are right at the centre of the golfing action. The charming accommodation with its 12 stylishly furnished rooms is housed in a restored country house and exudes a familiar, informal atmosphere. Here, you wake up to a view of the green, have breakfast under old trees in the garden and are just a few steps away from the first tee.

Two golf courses right on your doorstep

What makes Foresteria Margara so special are its two 18-hole golf courses – Percorso Glauco Lolli Ghetti and Percorso La Guazzetta. Both courses are completely different in character and offer a welcome change:

Percorso Glauco Lolli Ghetti is a true championship course that has hosted numerous international tournaments. Wide fairways, tricky bunkers and fast greens require solid course management.

Percorso La Guazzetta is somewhat gentler in design, but should not be underestimated. The fairways run through orchards and vineyards, with strategically placed water hazards ensuring excitement right up to the last hole.

With the Unlimited Green Fee package, you can play to your heart’s content on both courses – without time pressure and with the freedom to spontaneously add a second or third round.

Cuisine & Italian lifestyle

After your round of golf, the club restaurant invites you to enjoy typical Piedmontese cuisine of the highest standard. From homemade pasta to local wines from the Monferrato region – enjoyment is a top priority here. And best of all: the view from the terrace onto the 18th green at sunset is simply unbeatable.

Conclusion: a golf holiday with soul

Foresteria Margara is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to combine golf and enjoyment. It is not an off-the-peg hotel, but a place that makes every golfer’s heart beat faster. Ideal for couples, small groups or even solo golfers who appreciate peace and quiet and the Italian way of life.

Spacious, well-kept course in a quiet, rural setting, beautiful clubhouse

We were there at the beginning of March. The course was in very good condition for the early season. The hotel and restaurant in the clubhouse are very well maintained and the staff are friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location, pitches not in good condition.

The golf courses are beautifully situated. The property is well maintained, the rooms are well furnished. The pool is well maintained. The two courses were partly in a deplorable condition (fairways and greens). More soil than grass. Not so nice was that we were assigned the same course twice, although booked and promised differently. A tournament/club tournament was being played... Without further apology or small compensation. Overall, the service in the hotel/at breakfast was not particularly interested or committed. There was a building site right next to our rooms during the week. Noise unfortunately and therefore no possibility to use the actually nice lobby. The included dinner was unkind and not worthy of an Italian restaurant. Conclusion: We would not book there again.

Very complete golf course and hotel

Very complete hotel service, clean and comfortable. Quiet location. Restaurant/bar/vestiaries very good. Friendly, professional staff. Flat, very long courses. In summer, beware of mosquitoes. Outdoor pool perfect for relaxing before the residents and their children arrive. After all, they're at home and they make you feel it. At this point, retreat is essential if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Take a look at the special offers and go for it!

The 2 courses are very different, but both are interesting, and we enjoyed the unlimited golf. A bit remote if you don't play golf,

beautiful facility, very friendly staff, the room was cleaned well and thoroughly every day

Facility was actually very good. some places were not good due to weather. breakfast was very basic and food service was a bit lackluster. dinner included in offer was not good. they can offer a fake wine or drinks as welcome instead.
