Very nice resort, very good service

Palazzo di Varignana is a very beautiful, modern resort on extensive grounds with numerous sporting, botanical and artistic activities as well as several good and beautifully located restaurants. The rooms are spread over several buildings that are well integrated into the grounds, all of which are perfectly connected to the central main building and the spa, so that the spa can be easily reached in a bathrobe. The view over the hills of Emilia Romagna is magnificent, the pool restaurant perfect for a nice dinner with very good service and very tasty local products (olive oil, wine). The breakfast was excellent, very rich and with a large selection. We also really enjoyed the spacious pool area and the modern driving range. The perfect place for a relaxing vacation with golf excursions and visits to the sights of Emilia Romagna and San Marino. We were particularly impressed by the excellent service.

A paradise

Very warm welcome and helpful staff. Beautiful room, just not enough space for clothes storage. Very clean and great bar. Nice pools and quiet.

Beautiful and well maintained hotel complex

Friendly staff, modern and clean rooms, SPA and wellness area is unparalleled in the region. Excellent gastronomic offer with several restaurants on the premises. Absolutely quiet location of the rooms, despite many events during our stay.

Great hotel

This hotel was the absolute hammer. Since our booking was apparently cancelled, we were immediately offered a great alternative. We received an upgrade to a suite. This one was a dream. Reception to check out very friendly. However, a small drop off was felt in the main restaurant. The service staff were all very friendly, but also very overwhelmed. It made the impression that no one knew exactly what he/she had to do. Maybe it was because untrained staff was hired due to staff shortages? The food and beverage manager shooed his people around a bit haphazardly, which meant that you had to wait a very long time for your coffee. but that didn't dampen our day at Varignana Resort at all. We will be back again.
