Very close to Biarritz, in the French Basque country, lies the Golf D’Arcangues designed by the architect Ronald Fream on a 70-hectare site owned by the brothers Guy and Jean D’Arcangues. Between the Pyrenees and the ocean, this par 72 course of 5758 metres from the yellow tees is distinguished by its numerous undulations, water hazards and oak trees along the way, where scoring under normal conditions should not be a problem.
